Telling Your Story Writing Workshop
Are your relatives and friends interested in your life experiences? Would you like to capture memories on the page? It’s never too late to write your stories and share them.
Join us for a Writing Workshop consisting of a series of four, two-hour sessions where you’ll receive guidance and instruction from writer and teacher, Eberly Barnes, on Fridays beginning in October (4, 11, 18, 25) from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon. Classes will take place at La Colonia Park Community Center Classroom, located at 715 Valley Avenue, Solana Beach, CA 92075.
In each interactive section, you’ll receive suggestions for topics, share your written reflections, and discuss with classmates and the instructor in a relaxed, social environment.
Eberly Barnes currently manages a writing program for undergraduates at UC San Diego. In addition to her academic life, she has worked as a speechwriter, freelance editor, and writer. She has published memoir stories and writes a blog.
