Solana Beach Civic & Historical Society 70th Anniversary Celebration

The Solana Beach Civic and Historical Society will be celebrating its 70th anniversary on Friday, December 1st. The celebration will take place at noon at the Lomas Santa Fe Country Club. Long time members, Tom and Donna Golich, will be honored for their many contributions to the society and to the City of Solana Beach. As we honor Tom and Donna, we will also be honoring ourselves as we look back through the years at all that has been accomplished by our members in and for the City of Solana Beach.

The Women’s Civic Club, as it was called, began in 1953. Through the years the Society has left it’s mark on the City of Solana Beach in many ways. We have developed gardens, donated to various important fund raisers for City projects, identified important City landmarks and buildings, provided scholarships, sponsored food drives, and held interesting and informative monthly meetings.

Please join us as we honor our friends and their contributions to our organization and to the community, remember our accomplishments, and look to the future.

The event is on Friday, December 1st, Lomas Santa Fe Country Club, at noon. The reservation deadline is November 20th. Registrations for the lunch can be made at sb-chs.org.
