San Elijo Activity Hub Park & Ride Grand Opening!

To celebrate the completion of the new Park & Ride, Caltrans and SANDAG are inviting the public to attend a grand opening community celebration on Saturday, August 12, from 9 – 11 AM. The event will feature brief remarks from elected officials and project partners, as well as free snow cones, activities and games, a guided tour around the lagoon, new biking and walking paths to explore, and information booths to learn more about the project.

The facility will provide a convenient, centralized location for residents and visitors to utilize the new carpool lanes on I-5, visit the Nature Center, hike in the San Elijo Lagoon, visit the beach, and more.

TIP: This is the best place to park to visit Annie’s Canyon! Spread the word!

The new facility is located directly behind the Chevron gas station at 2581 Via Poco, Cardiff, CA.
