How can OhmConnect pay you to reduce your energy consumption?

OhmConnect bundles the energy savings of all of its users and sells it back to the California Independent System Operator’s (CAISO’s) energy markets. CAISO pays OhmConnect for the energy that wasn’t used. This type of program is called “demand response,” because it represents customers responding to heightened demand on the grid. In addition to helping improve grid reliability, demand response programs help reduce greenhouse gas emissions

CEA  is one of many California cities encouraging residents to save energy with OhmConnect. Because when one of us helps, it helps all of us.
