Environmental Conservation
The Climate Action Plan Pathway 3.3.4 Enhance Land Use & Natural Solutions pathway focuses on the many benefits and co-benefits that come with natural resource conservation. Instead of reducing GHG emissions from existing inventory sectors, the City's conservation efforts remove GHGs from the atmosphere through expanding trees and vegetation, protecting biodiversity and keystone species, and nurturing a healthy and beautiful environment for everyone to enjoy.
