Exciting news! The City has officially rolled out online filings and payments for monthly Short Term Vacation Rentals & Transient Occupancy Tax through Resident Access!

City staff will be notifying all monthly filers of this new online portal and will providing you will the exact Business ID and Business Owner Name as it appears in our system as these fields must match exactly to link your Resident Access account to your STVR/TOT account for filing/payments.

Short Term Vacation Rentals

The City has special regulations and a permit process for the rental of residential property for 7 to 30 consecutive days, regardless of building size, including multiple-family buildings, duplexes, and single-family residences. Short-term vacation rental (STVR) regulations, permit applications, and notices (signs) to post on and in your short-term vacation rental are available below.

Short Term Vacation Rental Renewals - Online Portal

You can now submit your payment online through eTrakit.

1. You will need to create a public account in order to access your records and make payments. (https://solab-trk.aspgov.com/eTRAKiT/publicUserAccount.aspx?action=npa)
2. After creating an account and logging in - select "Search Licenses" under Business Certificates on the left side of the page.
3. Search for your STVR using one of the search criteria listed in drop down, i.e. Search by LICENSE_NO, equals, search value would be STVR-######
4. Click on the correct STVR record
5. Review your STVR to ensure information is up to date
6. Select Attachment - please upload both pages of the signed renewal form
7. Add to cart - this allows you to add multiple business certificates to your cart to check out at once, alternative option is to select Fees tab and select "Pay all fees" which takes you to the shopping cart
8. Proceed to checkout
9. Select Pay now
10. This will take you to Paymentus to complete the payment information

City Staff will review the payment information and attachment when received. Once complete and fully processed, your 2026 STVR Permit will be emailed to you.

Please note: there is a 2.95% fee for credit/debit card payments

Transient Occupancy Tax

The Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT) is a percentage of the rent charged to transient guests in hotels/motels, including properties rented through home sharing services like Airbnb.

To submit a City TOT Return Form, complete the form and submit it to the Finance Department with a check for the correct amount. Monthly payments shall be due and payable on or before the last date of the month immediately following the month for which the payment is due. Accepted payment delivery methods are either mail that is post-marked by the due date or delivery to City Hall during business hours.
