Electric Vehicle Incentives and Resources

Switching to an Electric Vehicle is possible!

There are currently Federal and State Incentives to help with the upfront cost of switching to an EV. The U.S. Department of Energy offers a tax credit of up to $7,500 for eligible new electric vehicles and $4,000 for eligible used electric vehicles, along with tax credits for home chargers and home energy storage for up to $1,000. California’s Clean Cars 4 All also provides up to $12,000 in incentives for low-income customers in to purchase or lease new or used electric vehicle.

Interested? Act fast! These incentive programs will expire on September 30th. 

Do you have an EV or are thinking about purchasing one, but do not know where to plug in? The Alternative Fuels Data Center and PlugShare are two reliable resources to track down the nearest charging station.
